The final year buzz shown on here as well as a whole lot of other digital media stuff, talks and ideas. Be warned I got digital waves coming left, right and centre, so they may be head banging, broken computers, war torn keyboards, information overload but above all, a whole lot of work on here (one hopes)!!!
So I’ve been busy with quartz composer… using one of the compositions that I have used in the past, I created a visualiser that reacts according to music. I did a simple line of stone blocks that react with various frequencies. Then using the replicate in space I generated a kinda sun/star effect which then I placed onto a picture of Pin Lane. The effect is very retro, almost 70s hippy effect… at the moment there is only one visualiser, however, I want to have several visualisers along the lane, to give the lane more of a sound ecology to it…. but it raised some questions as to how I am planning on presenting the final piece. Do I present on location or do I create mimicry effect on a projection.
